About Pilar Sánchez Gómez Photography

I am a creative photographer based in the UK, originally from Salamanca, Spain.

From an early age I started developing a passion for photography and art in general, and as far as I remember I always had a camera in my hands.

Photographing my surroundings and different places, capturing moments has been a constant part of my life and form of expressing myself.

Following a career break in Finance I completed a Postgraduate Diploma with Merit at The British Academy of Photography.

My images are mostly inspired by the natural world; landscapes that show the beauty of visited places, the incredible details, colours and patterns of flowers and plants, wildlife in their natural environment but I also like walking around capturing the unexpected, a candid moment, a shadow, a reflection on water.
